Nanoporous Materials IV Nanoporous Materials IV contains the invited lectures inorganic material synthesis and peer-reviewed oral inorganic material synthesis and poster contributions to be presented at the 4th International Symposium on Nanoporous Materials, which will be hosted in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, June 7-10, 2005. This volume covers complementary approaches to inorganic material synthesis and recent advances in the field of nanostructured materials with pore sizes larger than 1nm, such as periodic mesoporous molecular sieves (e.g., MCM-41 inorganic material synthesis and SBA-15) inorganic material synthesis and related materials including clays, ordered mesoporous carbons, colloidal crystal templated materials, porous polymers inorganic material synthesis and sol gels. The broad range of topics covered in relation to the synthesis inorganic material synthesis and characterization of ordered mesoporous materials are of great importance for advanced adsorption, catalytic, separation inorganic material synthesis and environmental processes as well as for the development of nanotechnology. This volume contains over 120 contributions related to the synthesis of ordered mesoporous silicas, organosilicas, nonsiliceous inorganic materials, carbons, polymers inorganic material synthesis and related materials, their characterization inorganic material synthesis and applications in adsorption, catalysis inorganic material synthesis and environmental clean up. * Unique contributions brings readers up-to-date on new research inorganic material synthesis and application developments * Figures inorganic material synthesis and tables supplement comprehensive topics * Extensive author inorganic material synthesis and subject index Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. Progress in Inorganic Chemistry The cutting edge of scientific reporting . . . PROGRESS in Inorganic Chemistry Nowhere is creative scientific talent busier than in the world of inorganic chemistry experimentation. Progress in Inorganic Chemistry continues in its tradition of being the most respected avenue for exchanging innovative research. This series provides inorganic chemists inorganic material synthesis and materials scientists with a forum for critical, authoritative evaluations of advances in every area of the discipline. With contributions from internationally renowned chemists, this latest volume offers an in-depth, far-ranging examination of the changing face of the field, providing a tantalizing glimpse of the emerging state of the science. This series is distinguished not only by its scope inorganic material synthesis and breadth, but also by the depth inorganic material synthesis and quality of the reviews. -Journal of the American Chemical Society [This series] has won a deservedly honored place on the bookshelf of the chemist attempting to keep afloat in the torrent of original papers on inorganic chemistry. -Chemistry in Britain CONTENTS OF VOLUME 54 * Atomlike Building Units of Adjustable Character: Solid-State inorganic material synthesis and Solution Routes to Manipulating Hexanuclear Transition Metal Chalcohalide Clusters (Eric J.
